School Fee Policy
The School Fee is applicable for the academic year August to June.
- At the time of admission, the student is required to pay the Registration Fee, Admission Fee & Refundable Security deposit.
- Annual fees and other fees have to be paid within the time period stipulated by the admissions department.
Fees are inclusive of
Stationary, boarding & lodging, routine in-school medical care, accident insurance, laundry & transport expenses for school visits within Bangalore for school events.
Other Costs (Field trip, Uniform, Pocket Money & books) are only approximate. The actual amount spent will be intimated to the parents and shortfalls/excesses will be recovered /reimbursed at the end of the academic year.
The day scholar and weekly boarder students who have opted for transportation have to pay the Transportation Fee as prescribed from time to time. Increased costs due to fuel price hikes will be recovered from students as and when such increases occur.
Options for paying fee
Option 1: Payment of fee in full at one stretch.
Option 2: Payment of Annual fee in 2 installments. Students opting to pay Annual fee in 2 installments will have to pay an additional Rs.20,000. The 2nd installment of annual fee will be payable on or before 30th November. All other applicable fees will have to be paid along with the 1st installment.
Fees can be paid by DD/cheque favoring 'Indus International School', payable at Bangalore.
All fees are payable in INR Only. Payments made in other acceptable currencies (USD, GBP or Euro) will be converted to INR at rates prevailing on the day of deposit of fees. Shortfall due to currency fluctuation will be recovered from the student.
Fees can also be paid using Credit Cards (Visa & Mastercard) with additional credit card charges of 2.5% on total fee payable.
Students whose fees remain unpaid in full/part will not be allowed to sit for the board examination. Until the outstanding fees are received, no internal examination results, reports, Transfer Certificates or recommendations to future schools/colleges will be issued to the student or parent.
If the fee is not paid even after 3 fortnightly reminders, the student's name shall be struck off from the school's records and all dues shall be forfeited from the security deposit to the full extent possible. For balance amounts, if any, the school shall resort to legal recourse.
Students converting from Boarding to Day boarding should do so at the end of a semester. Students converting from Boarding to Day boarding in the middle of the semester shall have to pay boarding fee for the full semester. Weekly boarders staying back on weekdays will be charged separately.
Students wishing to withdraw should give at least one semester's notice (Aug-Dec/Jan-June). Fees pertaining to the semester falling in the notice period shall be payable by the student.
In the case of withdrawal without notice, the same shall be forfeited from the security deposit of the student.
Registration and Admission fee are Non-Refundable. Admission fee is refundable only if the student discontinues before commencement of school.
All refunds will be paid after obtaining clearance certificate and after 1 month from the last day of the student at the school.
Transfer of Students to Indus Schools in other cities
Registration and Admission fee have to be paid when students transfer from one school/location to another.
Student accounts will be closed and the balance will be refunded at the respective schools.
Reduction of 10% in the annual fees if the student moves in the middle of an academic session.
Reduction of 15% in the annual fees if the student moves after completion of the academic session.
The deposit is non-interest bearing and is refundable upon the student passing out/leaving the school.
Any unpaid dues incurred by the student shall be recovered from his/her security deposit.
The Security deposit shall be refunded within 60 days of the withdrawal/passing out of the student after adjusting for unpaid dues, if any.
All Bank Charges pertaining to inward remittance of school fee, if any, shall be debited to the student's account.
If a cheque is dishonoured by the bank, the amount must be remitted within 2 working days. Else, the matter may be handed over to the legal department.
Indus International School-Hyderabad has put in place policies & regulations necessary for effective functioning of the School. The School reserves the right to amend its policies and fee structure whenever considered necessary & appropriate.
